Motion Modes and Effect Control
Transit 2 offers six motion modes: Macro, LFO, Follower, Sidechain, Gate and Sequencer. Macro moves the whole FX chain with one knob, which can be automated for large sweeping transitions. LFO creates rhythmic motion that can be synced to the host BPM or left free-running. Follower moves effects with the dynamics of your track, and Sidechain uses an external input to control movement, which the developer frames as an extension of classic kick ducking.
The Sequencer mode launches DAW-synced transitions with a click. Sequencer Loop can run Transit as an LFO for constant movement across an entire track. Each effect parameter can stay static or be linked to the motion mode, and a slope control gives each knob its own ramp curve.
