Finding and Reducing Problem Harmonics
Deres uses a Listen button to exaggerate the frequencies you are working on, so resonant peaks are easier to hear. The Find knob sweeps the 1 to 8 kHz range to locate unusual peaks that sound muddy or harsh. Once a peak is found, the Reduce parameter applies the processing, and the Q value controls how wide or narrow the affected band is.
The Octave control reduces the related components of the main frequency, so several harmonics can be treated together. Static mode cuts resonances in a linear way, while dynamic mode engages only when the peak is present.
