Overdrive, Distortion and Fuzz Models

The plugin covers a broad range of drive character. The Tube Screamer (TS-808) and its brighter TS-9 variant are built around a smooth mid-boost suited to sustain and pushing a tube amp. The Blues Driver (BD-2) offers a warmer, creamier overdrive, while the OD-1 uses asymmetric clipping and reacts closely to playing dynamics.

For heavier sounds, the DS-1, RAT and Distortion+ provide sharper, more aggressive distortion. The Metal Zone (MT-2) adds high-gain distortion with a 3-band EQ. On the fuzz side, the Fuzz Face and Big Muff Pi cover thick, organic saturation and a wide, sustaining tone with a scooped midrange.

Boost and Solo Tones

Beyond drive and fuzz, the Treble Booster adds a simple boost that lifts the highs. It is useful for pushing a solo forward so it cuts through a dense mix. The Super OverDrive (SD-1) is a smooth overdrive that can also be used as a boost ahead of an amp model.

Because the pedals can be chained conceptually in one plugin, producers can shape a signal from a gentle boost to full distortion without switching between separate effects.
