Recording Stage and Saturation Controls
The recording stage gives you an input volume control and a soft clipper that adds odd harmonics to the signal. This is the first point where the sound picks up grit, and it works well when you want a driven, slightly rough character before any digital degradation is applied.
The AMP drive adds both even and odd harmonics, so the plugin can push sounds from warm to distorted. A high- and low-shelf filter with 12 dB of range lets you shape the tone afterward, and an optional 8x oversampling setting applies to the non-linear components to reduce aliasing.
