Sound Range and Character
Soul Sessions covers a broad stylistic range within one instrument. Native Instruments describes its sounds as spanning 1960s-style horns, 1970s bass plucks, organ-style keys and 1980s synth stylings.
The presets are hybrid sounds, layering acoustic-inspired and synthetic timbres. That makes the instrument a fit for softening harder beats with R&B-style mood, adding a sound-design edge to contemporary jazz and soul, or bringing looser, organic tones into electronic productions.
