Spectral Balancing and Resonance Control
The plugin is built around a target curve. You set the desired tonal balance, then turn the global threshold knob until the plugin begins balancing the audio. Deeper settings are available for users who want more control.
Where many spectral balancers apply one global setting to the whole signal, Smooth Operator Pro lets you override the settings for any frequency node. You can set individual dynamic profiles across the spectrum, for example targeting the sides at 150 Hz to clean up bass, taming a harsh cymbal at 7.5 kHz, or applying a softer compression profile to a vocal at 2.5 kHz.
Baby Audio says two correction algorithms, Even and Skew, are included.
