Tone shaping and dynamic EQ controls
FireEQ includes a single Dark/Bright knob that adjusts the overall color of a mix, useful for quickly shifting the mood of a track. The Magic knob applies complex dynamic processing that raises quiet content and reduces loud content, working in a way similar to a multiband compressor. Its eight core frequencies each have a Side/Mid knob, which sets gain for neighboring frequencies with opposite gain applied to mid and side signals, giving control over the mid-to-side balance in that range.
The low-cut filter includes a side kill function that removes stereo content below a chosen frequency. United Plugins describes this as a way to avoid low-end problems on larger playback systems.
