Articulations and Sampling Detail
Plucks are sampled with six velocity layers and 12 round robin variations for every note the sitar can play. The Chikari and resonant strings are included as separate sounds.
The ornamental articulations include hammer-ons, meends that slide up and down in semitone and whole-tone steps, and krinthans, a technique combining hammer-on and pull-off. These articulations have multiple dynamics and speeds, and every multi-sample includes both damped and open versions.
