Building Custom Reverb Spaces From Delay Lines
Røverb's core idea is a hybrid of reverb and delay. Up to 50 delay lines run in parallel, and each one has its own volume, pre-delay, feedback, delay time and high-shelving filter. Because every line is independent, you can build anything from a simple echo to a dense, irregular space.
Each delay line is shown on a graphical display. The direction of a line sets its panning, and the size of the circles indicates gain and decay. A toolbox switches between time change, delete, volume and high-shelf gain editing, and you can select and edit several delay lines in one gesture.
The Randomizer generates a new space within user-defined bounds, which is useful when you want a starting point you did not design by hand.
