Pitch Mapping and Key Detection

reTune lets you define a mapping from every input pitch to any other pitch in the chromatic scale. This makes it possible to move audio from one key to another, such as from D major to C# minor, or to use the mapping as a creative tool that reshapes the pitch content in unusual ways.

If you do not know the key of your source, reTune can detect it automatically using zplane's TONART V2 technology. Presets are included for major and minor scales, church modes, gypsy scales and the chromatic scale, giving you a starting point for common target tonalities.

Pitch Correction and Detection Controls

Beyond key mapping, reTune can act as a pitch correction tool that quantizes pitches to the nearest semitone. Controls for pitch detection sensitivity let you determine how the plugin responds to different sources.

Transient level and pitch contour smoothing controls shape how the processing handles attacks and pitch movement. Together these settings allow you to balance accuracy against a more natural result.
