Organ and Strings Sound Character
The organ and strings sections can be used separately or layered together. The organ section mixes four square waves, and the strings section builds a saw-like waveform by layering square waves at different octaves and volumes. A bias control sets the balance between those layers.
The Top Octave Generator approach keeps notes on different octaves in sync, so the sound avoids the phasing problems common in sample-based instruments. The BBD-based ensemble chorus adds stereo width and modulation to otherwise static tones. A rate multiplier adjusts the speed of the internal modulator LFOs.
