Predator 3 is a hybrid synthesizer with three oscillators, each with sub-oscillators. The oscillators can use subtractive analog-modeled waveforms, additive spectrum waveforms, and up to eight user spectrum waveforms per preset. Waveforms can morph inside each oscillator, and a Spread feature creates three-oscillator detuning within each oscillator.

The filter section offers two analog-modeled filters with various routing options and 38 filter types. A pre-filter distortion stage, a dedicated high-pass filter with resonance, and an AMP section with 11 distortion modes complete the signal path.

Modulation is handled by four LFOs, four envelopes and two multi-stage envelopes with up to 15 stages each. A 20-slot modulation matrix supports an advanced mode with offset and threshold controls. An Audio Follower with 11 inputs can drive destinations from a side-chain signal.

The arpeggiator has four patterns (A to D) with up to 16 steps each, step features such as tie, slide and ratchet, and chord, sequencer and modulating modes. A recordable XY pad with tempo-sync options adds performance control. Predator 3 also provides a bank manager with search, category and date ordering.
