01Overview

MStereoProcessor is built for controlling stereo image and the perception of depth and space in recordings and mixes. Its four bands can each be widened, narrowed or excited independently, so bass can stay tighter while treble opens up. A 2D stereo field analyzer and channel peak meters show how the output sits in the stereo image, and mute and solo controls per band help you check each part of the signal on its own.

Multiband Stereo Width Control

Global panorama and widening settings act on the full signal, and a broadband exciter can add clarity. Each of the four bands has its own widening and exciting controls, which makes it practical to keep low frequencies centered while widening higher bands. The widening can range from mono up to a 200% increase, and a delayed stereo enhancement option is included.

Three crossover types are available: analog, linear-phase and hybrid. Switching between them lets you pick the band separation mode that suits your material.

Analysis and Mono Compatibility Checks

The integrated 2D stereo field analyzer shows the output stereo profile, so you can confirm the mix is wide enough and that its direction is correct. Channel peak meters and a mono/stereo field check show whether the recording still holds up when summed to mono.

MIDI learn lets you map any parameter to a MIDI controller or keyboard for real-time control or automation, and all parameters are automatable. Presets can be saved and shared across projects, and online preset exchange is available when enabled.
