Spectral processing and creative transformations
MSpectralDelay processes audio in the spectral domain, so each frequency can be handled on its own terms. For every frequency you can set delay time, feedback, panorama and level. The developer also describes complex transformations, including pitch, frequency shift and formant changes, along with frequency-to-frequency and level-to-level mapping.
These tools suit effects that a conventional delay cannot easily produce, such as echoes that drift in pitch or repeats that shift in character over time. Adjustable up-sampling from 1x to 16x and 64-bit processing are also included.
