MSoundFactoryLE is a Lite instrument plugin from MeldaProduction that provides the sounds of the full MSoundFactory without access to its edit screen. It runs as a VST3, VST2, AU or AAX plugin on Windows and macOS.
MSoundFactoryLE gives you a categorized library of instruments rather than loose presets. Each instrument is a complete set of sounds with its own presets, covering categories such as basses, pianos, organs and synths. The plugin is the Lite version of MSoundFactory, so you get the same sounds but cannot open the edit screen. It is offered in 64-bit builds for Windows and macOS, with a trial available. Its global preset system lets you use the same sounds across projects in any supported host.
MeldaProduction describes MSoundFactory as a platform where each instrument is a full instrument with many settings and its own presets, not a single sound with a few macro controls. Categories include basses, pianos, organs and various synths.
Presets are stored in a system database and can be accessed from any project in any host. The plugin can also share your presets and download presets from other users through the developer's servers.
Up to eight instances can be loaded in A to H slots and switched between freely, which helps when you want to compare versions of a sound. The first four slots can be morphed with an X-Y pad, so you can blend several presets into one result.
The smart randomization engine can change parameters fully, make subtle changes, or use values learned from existing presets. You can lock parameters you want excluded from randomization, which helps when you need fresh starting points.
The plugin includes automatic gain compensation, so output loudness stays close to input loudness when you browse presets. A safety limiter is built in to keep output below 0 dB.
MSoundFactoryLE runs on Windows 8, 10 and 11 (64-bit) and on macOS 10.14 and newer (64-bit). It requires an Intel or AMD processor with SSE2 support, and it runs natively on Apple Silicon. A VST, VST3, AU or AAX compatible host is needed. Activation uses a license file, so no dongle or internet connection is required.
