Waldorf Edition 2: Virtual Synth, Drum Synth and Filter Plugin Bundle

PPG Wave 2.2V is modeled after the PPG Wave 2.3 and offers 32 wavetables with 64 waveforms each. The synth is 8-part multitimbral and has two stereo outputs, so it can run several parts at once in a multi-track session. Up to 64 voices are available per instance, depending on your available CPU power. A synced arpeggiator keeps rhythmic patterns locked to your project tempo.

The package includes more than 700 sounds, which gives you a starting point across a range of styles before you begin editing. Wavetable synthesis is known for hybrid analog and digital tones, and this plugin is aimed at producers who want that classic wavetable sound inside a modern DAW.

Attack is a percussion synthesizer with 24 sounds per kit and 36 kits containing more than 850 sounds. Each sound has two oscillators, frequency and ring modulation, a Crack module, six filter types with resonance up to self-oscillation, overdrive up to 52 dB, and two envelopes. Its effects section includes Delay, Equalizer, Drive, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus and Reverb. Because Attack computes sounds in real time, you can change any parameter directly.

D-Pole is a multimode filter with lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and resonator types, switchable between 12 dB and 24 dB slopes. It adds sample rate reduction, ring modulation, overdrive up to 52 dB and a stereo delay of up to 2000 ms that can sync to tempo. Its LFO rate can be adjusted up to over 7000 Hz and can sync to tempo or audio.
