Warmth without losing dynamics
Most warming tools, whether digital distortion, analog saturation or tape-style processing, reduce the dynamic range of the material they process. MPhatik's approach is to measure the level envelope before and after processing and correct the output gain to match. Resonance-style gain compensation of this kind keeps transients and phrasing intact while the tone changes.
The plugin also includes an automatic gain compensation stage, so switching presets or randomizing settings does not change perceived loudness. A safety brickwall limiter keeps the output below 0 dB when processing hot or unusual material.
