01Overview

MGuitarArchitect brings a full guitar signal chain into a single plugin. Its library covers amp, cabinet and stompbox simulators, along with studio-style and utility processors, and each effect can be added, reordered and adjusted without much setup. The effects are grouped by genre, so guitarists working in country, metal or experimental styles can find relevant processors quickly. It is also suited to guitars and basses recorded direct, where the plugin supplies the tone that an amp would normally provide, and it works just as well on signals captured with a microphone.

Chain Layout and Effect Library

The input interface offers three fully customizable chains with 16 slots each, plus a fourth chain for sidechaining. That allows up to 64 effects to run in series or in parallel across the four groups.

The library includes 40 amp simulators, 13 cabinet simulators, 26 stompbox simulators, ten studio-style processors and eight utility processors. Gain, tone and filtering can be controlled on each one, and every individual parameter can be adjusted. Presets are included for each effect, and you can save your own presets for a single effect or for an entire chain.

Studio Effects and Impulse Responses

MGuitarArchitect lets you place any MeldaProduction effect you own at any point in the guitar chain, so EQs, compressors and modulation effects from the developer's other plugins can be used here as well.

It also includes MConvolutionEZ, an impulse response effect for reverb and microphone processing. The collection covers reverb spaces from plates and rooms to churches and halls, and includes responses modeled on microphones used for guitar cabinets, including the Shure Beta52, Sennheiser e609 and AKG C3000. Volume and filtering options are provided for each response.
