Sound, Interface and Workflow
The plugin aims to keep the sound, interaction and performance of the original hardware as close as possible. Softube says the complex interfaces of the original instruments were reorganized to make them easier to use. The section layout follows the signal flow, so the Ring Mod section sits where it falls in the chain. A balance slider moves between the upper and lower layers, letting you adjust each layer while staying in control of the overall mix.
For character, an Aging Slider adds drift to the oscillators and variations over filter cutoff, pulse width and envelope time. It moves the sound between a stable modern tone and an older, more worn one. A stereo algorithmic reverb with a Reverb Slider controls both wet/dry mix and decay time.
