Sound and Workflow of the Classic EQ Models
MTurboEQ covers many classic equalizer designs under one roof. Each model uses roughly the same layout: a low shelf and a high shelf, followed by peak filters. Where an original hardware unit had only one peak band, the plugin still provides four, and they all behave the same way. Saturation adds some of the warmth associated with analog gear, and a dry/wet control sets how much EQ is blended in.
MeldaProduction also includes high-pass and low-pass filters, which many vintage units lacked but which are common in modern mixing. Automatic gain compensation keeps loudness changes from skewing your judgment when you boost or cut.
Stepped mode limits values such as filter frequencies and gain steps, which makes decisions quicker. Continuous mode then unlocks fine-tuning across the full range.
