Sound Character and Melodic Textures

Native Instruments says the sounds were recorded with legendary preamps and iconic synthesisers, then twisted with a layer of morphing texture. The result is a set of warped keys, detuned plucks and wonky synths that feel unstable in a way that suits hooks and riffs.

The 150 presets are aimed at melodic styles, including wavy pop, trap and R&B. Because the textures move over time, the sounds work as foreground melodies as well as supporting pads in a mix.

Controls, Effects and Sequencing

Each preset can be shaped further with reverb and chorus effects, sequenced modulation and a custom-designed melt dial. Custom macros give you a single place to adjust several parameters at once, which is useful when you want to change the amount of warp across a whole part.

The sequencing tools allow modulation to follow a rhythm, so the detuning and movement can lock to the groove of a track.
