Amp Model and Cabinet Setup

The core of the plugin is a model of the Marshall Super Bass 100W, the amp Lemmy used for his bass and guitar work. The model includes two channels, a three-band EQ and three 12AX7 preamp tubes.

The cabinet section reproduces the setup Cameron Webb captured at Maple Sound Studios in California: a Marshall MF280L 4x12 and an oversized 1979L 4x15. Each cabinet is represented by a fader, and microphone selectors let you choose the mic for each cabinet. The mic options are SM7B, MD421, SM57 and D12 VR, positioned as in the original session.

Presets and Amp Room Version

The plugin ships with guitar and bass presets built around Lemmy's distinctive sound, which give you a starting point for rock and punk tones without building a chain from scratch.

For users of Softube's Amp Room platform, the product is also offered as two modules: one for the Super Bass 100W amp and one for the cabinet section. This lets you place the amp and cabinets alongside pedals or effects in that environment.
