The suite is built around two versions of the ENGL Savage Mark II amp head, the 120W model and the 60W model, each with its own power amp tube choice. Softube says the models are component modeled from schematics and hand-measured hardware rather than generated with artificial intelligence. Amp heads and tone-shaping controls

The suite includes faithful models of the ENGL Savage Mark II 120W and 60W heads. The 120W version uses ENGL 6550 power amp tubes, while the 60W version uses ENGL EL34 tubes for a different tonal option.

The Savage Mark II has four channels and a 3-band EQ on Channel 1 and Channel 2. Lean and Bold circuits offer two distinct midrange characters. The Gain Lo/Hi circuit lets the Clean channel switch into a Crunch mode in the Hi setting, and adds richness and weight to the Lead channel.

Cabinets and effects in the signal chain

Five ENGL cabinets cover a range of sizes, from a 2x12 to an XXL 4x12. Speaker options include Celestion Vintage 30, Vintage 12-60 and G12H Anniversary, depending on the cabinet selected.

The four included pedals are a boost, a low-end compressor, a stereo delay and a reverb. The suite also has studio effects, RoomIR, an American Class A 55 EQ and an American Class A 25 Comp. Signal chains can be customized, and the suite includes a custom IR loader with eight IR Producer Packs.
