Stereo Routing and Monitoring Modes
MAATgo combines channel steering and blending controls with a balance adjustment. Stereo image and routing options include a sum (L+R) mode, a difference (L-R) mode, a swap mode that exchanges left and right, and polarity inversion for the left channel, the right channel or both.
The plugin offers five monitoring modes: solo, mono, difference, and mid/side. The mono mode lets you listen for cancellation in the phantom center, which also helps you check how the center relates to panned content at the edges. The L-R mode removes most mono content, so it can be used to reduce lead vocals on many popular songs.
Polarity inversion modes help you check signal chain integrity, while left-only and right-only controls give a more detailed view of the stereo field.
