Multiband correlation metering and the trueLinear scale
A regular stereo correlation meter shows the overall relationship between left and right, which can hide problems in specific frequency ranges. 2BC multiCORR divides the signal into 31 bands with carefully chosen center frequencies, so you can see which parts of the spectrum are losing energy when the mix is summed to mono.
Most correlation meters use a cosine scale inherited from older analog meters. MAAT uses its own trueLinear scale instead, which the developer says better matches how the meter reads to the eye. The plugin also adds a stereo balance meter and a broadband correlation meter alongside the multiband display.
