Loudness, Peak and Dynamic Range Metering
The loudness section offers EBU R128 integrated and short-term LUFS meters, along with a loudness range meter that shows how much loudness varies between sections of a track. The true peak meter uses 16x oversampling to help you check that a master does not clip, and a standard peak meter is available for keeping a final mix below -6 dB.
The dynamic range display is based on the short-term LUFS to peak ratio. An oscilloscope glows green when the signal is dynamic, which gives a quick visual sign of whether a track has been overcompressed.
