01Overview

FASTER MASTER is built to get a track from rough mix toward a finished master quickly. You load it as the final plugin in your chain, play the loudest section of your song and click Analyze. The plugin then generates a set of presets matched to your material. Each module can be fine-tuned, and every change is level-matched so you can compare before and after on equal volume. The developer describes the plugin as co-created with David Guetta and Nicky Romero.

Smart Presets and Level-Matched Mastering Controls

After analysis, FASTER MASTER offers 10 presets based on your track. You can flip through them with the preset arrows, browse genre-specific options, or import reference tracks to build a custom profile.

The EQ, Transient, Compression, Stereo and Limiter modules each adjust in real time, and every change is loudness-matched. Toggling bypass lets you judge the effect of a setting without volume bias, which is the main reason to trust the comparisons.

The EQ uses filters designed to minimize phase distortion and transient smearing, and a mix percentage control sets how much of the processing is applied.

Reference Matching and the Lock Function

The Reference Track feature lets you import tracks you like and match their sonic profile. When a reference-based preset is active, the Play button previews your reference auto-looped and level-matched to your mastered song, so you can A/B the two directly.

The Lock function freezes a module's settings when you switch presets. This is useful if you have settled on a stereo setting but want to audition different EQ options.
