InstaComposer 4 Upgrade from InstaComposer 1 or 2: MIDI Generation Plugin

The update reworks the generation engine used by Melody, Ostinato, Chord, Rhythm and Drums modes. W. A. Production says these modes have been refined for rhythmic feel, pitch selection, timing and musical cohesion. Two new modes, Arpeggiator and Rhythm V2, add more options for melodic and rhythmic material.

Foliage controls add complementary notes that grow from a main melody, with an amount control for subtle or dense results. New Groove controls include Syncopation, Gallop, Density, Burst and Congestion, and Humanize adds controlled variation to timing and velocity.

InstaComposer 4 includes a built-in acoustic piano and a General MIDI-style instrument collection, so compositions can be heard without routing every track to another plugin. You can also load your own SoundFont (SF2) instruments.

An integrated mixer provides track balance, master output and reverb and delay. Timeline playback lets you jump to any point in a composition, and generation supports up to 6 tracks with up to 8 Scenes. The plugin also includes MIDI import, chord and scale analysis, and MIDI drag and drop.
