InstaComposer 4: MIDI Generation Plugin for Songs, Riffs and Chords

The core of InstaComposer 4 is a rebuilt generation engine. W. A. Production says Melody, Ostinato, Chord, Rhythm and Drums modes were refined for rhythmic feel, pitch selection, timing and harmonic cohesion.

Two new modes, Arpeggiator and Rhythm V2, add more options for melodic and rhythmic material. Full-song generation is described as producing more varied arrangements, and timeline playback lets you jump to any point in a composition for faster auditioning and editing.

Groove controls for Syncopation, Gallop, Density, Burst and Congestion shape the feel of generated patterns, from straight rhythms to more intricate grooves. Humanize adds controlled variation to timing and velocity.

Foliage adds complementary notes that grow from a main melody, with an amount control to go from subtle to dense. InstaComposer 4 also includes an acoustic piano and General MIDI-style instruments, can load your own SoundFont (SF2) files, and has an integrated mixer with reverb and delay, so you can hear results without routing every track to another plugin.
