InstaComposer 3: MIDI Generator Plugin for Songs, Chords and Riffs

InstaComposer 3 can assemble a full song arrangement from a blank slate with one click. Sections include Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Post-Chorus, Bridge, Breakdown and Outro. Each song section holds its own scenes and tracks, and Song Sync follows your DAW playhead across those sections.

On the harmony side, the plugin detects chords, chord progressions, scales and tonal centres in generated, entered or imported MIDI. Slash chords such as G/B or A/C# can be set by assigning a non-root bass note. The chord editor lets you drag and resize chord partitions to change structure and placement.

The plugin generates up to six tracks at once across layers including Melody, Riff, Ostinato, Rhythm, Bass, Pad, Pad2, Chord and Drums. Eight scenes per preset let you store variations or alternative song parts. Multi-track and multi-channel routing lets each layer go to its own channel.

You can load or drag in external MIDI files to jumpstart ideas or blend them with generated material. A range control sets upper and lower note bounds so output fits a given instrument. Finished material exports as MIDI through drag and drop into your DAW.
