Hybrid Keyboard Sounds and Character

Ignition Keys draws on pianos, organs, synths and other keyboard-based instruments, then processes them with effects to create unconventional textures. Native Instruments describes the results as distinctive, and the hybrid patches are designed to sound different from the source instruments alone.

Because the sounds are built from samples plus effects, you can use them for keyboard parts that need more character than a clean acoustic or electric patch provides.

Presets, Customization and Workflow

The instrument includes an extensive set of presets that you can load and play straight away. From there, you can blend sounds and adjust the instrument's controls to build your own patch.

The interface is designed to be intuitive, and the Play Series approach gives you real-time control over the sound while you play, which suits live tweaking during writing and performance.
