Hyperion Strings Solo Violins combines two complete solo violin libraries in one instrument. The 1st and 2nd violins each come with Master, Phrases and True Legato presets, covering sustains, staccatos, sordino and a wide set of special articulations. Soundiron built the library with a modular layout and a dedicated play-assist system, so the instrument is quick to load and start playing, while the controls for articulation management, positioning and acoustics give experienced composers room to shape the sound.

The library covers a broad set of articulations, including sustains, staccatos, true legato and sordino. Special techniques such as harmonics, ponticello, flautando, detache, colle, Bartok pizzicato and col legno are also included.

The Expressions suite adds crescendos, decrescendos, sforzandos and swells in a range of lengths and dynamics. These can be time-stretched, tempo-synced and set to release automatically. The library contains 9,538 stereo samples recorded at 24-bit, 48 kHz.
