01Overview

FXEQ is built around a simple idea: each effect module is controlled with a 6-band EQ rather than a conventional set of parameters. That lets you shape where saturation, reverb, delay or modulation sits in the frequency spectrum. Instead of setting up sends, buses and routing, you can add color to a single track, such as drums or a synth pad, directly in one plugin. The developer positions it as a way to add drive, dimension and texture without complex signal chains.

EQ-Based Workflow and Sound Shaping

Each module in FXEQ includes a 6-band EQ with four filter shapes and adjustable Q. You use these bands to decide which part of the sound each effect colors, so a saturation module can add weight to low frequencies while leaving the top end untouched.

The Limiter is zero-latency and is there to prevent clipping on the output. Every effect has its own controls, so you can adjust the character without digging through deep menus.

Effects Modules: Saturation, Lo-Fi, Reverb, Delay and Modulation

The saturation section offers eight modes for adding weight, bite and fizz, and four lo-fi modes for crisp or vintage textures. The reverb section includes three reverbs, and the delay section offers four delay types for dimension and stereo movement.

The modulation module covers chorus, flanger, phaser and doubler effects for layered character. FXEQ includes a random preset picker with over 50 presets, and an FX Only mode for using the plugin as a send effect by removing the dry signal.
