Classic and modern filter character

KORG says the classic filters are recreated from the MS-20, Polysix, miniKORG 700s and ARP ODYSSEY, each with its original user interface. These models aim to keep the response and character of the original instruments.

Alongside them, Filter Ark adds newly developed modern types, including physically modeled resonators and a vowel filter that simulates human vocal formants. These types are meant for both subtle tonal shaping and more unconventional textures.

Routing, modulation and sound generation

Filter Ark's routing supports up to four filters in series, parallel and feedback configurations, and includes ready-made routing templates as starting points.

The modulation system includes a morphable LFO, an Envelope Follower with side-chain input, a Step Sequencer with adjustable steps and playback modes, and a Random Generator. A built-in noise oscillator and a cutoff-frequency scale quantizer allow the plugin to produce percussive and tonal material when combined with modulation.
