Mixing the Drum Circle Microphone Positions
The library is organized around four mic positions: kick, snare, overheads and room. Kick and snare are captured with dynamic mics on each drum. The overheads use pencil condensers in stereo above the kit, and the room is captured with two spaced large diaphragm condensers in the middle of the drum circle.
Each channel has its own load and purge switch, pan, volume, mute and solo controls, and a stereo width control that runs from full stereo to mono. An output selector lets you route the channels to separate tracks in your DAW, so you can mix the kit to taste.
