Cloudburst Acoustic is the second product in the Cloudburst Series. It covers three octaves of tuned Natural Harmonics, captured with both a mono and an XY pair microphone setup. Multi-velocity samples and a round-robin function are included to add variation as you play. The instrument also has a Smart Random Noise algorithm that can add release noises and occasional dead notes if you want a more human feel. Iamlamprey describes it as an instrument to layer with pianos or strings, or to play on its own.
The library focuses on Natural Harmonics played on an acoustic guitar. Both mono and XY pair recordings are available, so you can choose a tighter centered sound or a wider stereo image.
Multi-velocity samples respond to how hard you play, and the round-robin function rotates between sample variations so repeated notes do not sound identical. The optional Smart Random Noise algorithm adds release noise and occasional dead notes for extra realism.
