Sound, Patches and Playing Techniques
The instrument has four master patches. Sticks and Mallets each cover the six drums and offer two stick types per instrument. Group Hits holds hits and two-drum flams for each drum. Group Big Hits contains single hits and flams recorded at maximum volume, which suits big accents.
Each drum offers up to 14 velocity layers and 3 round robins. Separate right and left-hand strikes, double strike hits, 3 stick hits, 5 stick hits and rolls are controlled with Mod Wheel expression. Combo hits, where two toms are struck together, add extra weight to a single note.
