Acoustic Guitar Sound and Recording Approach
Acou6tics is recorded in Blumlein stereo, which the developer says avoids phasing problems when the mix is summed to mono. The recording process aims to minimize the room sound while keeping the natural tone of each instrument, so the result is a fairly dry but natural-sounding acoustic tone.
The virtual room section lets you adjust microphone distance, and the library includes physically modeled sympathetic resonance. Between 4,000 and 8,000 samples are included per instrument, with uncompressed wave files totaling 4 GB to 8 GB for each.
