Brad Hoyt's Harp Guitar: Multi-Sampled Harp Guitar Kontakt Instrument

Soundiron sampled plucks, palm mutes, chokes, slides, glisses, scrapes and guitar body percussion. Each string is multi-sampled with up to 12 round-robin variations and up to 7 velocity layers per note, which helps reduce repetition in fast passages.

The samples were recorded up close and dry in wide stereo using a matched pair of Neumann microphones and Sound Devices preamps. That dry recording gives you room to shape the tone with the library's effects or your own processing to fit a mix.

The library includes true legato slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs, and real-time string selection for controlling finger position.

The Strumulator tools build chords from real multi-samples rather than static pre-recorded chords. Strum speed, stroke direction, tightness and dynamics are adjustable in real time. You can build, play back, save and load strum patterns, with up to 128 custom groove presets.

The Advanced Performance preset is set up for lead and rhythm playing with full instrument control. Standard, exotic and custom tuning options are included. Parameters are automation-ready in your host or in Kontakt's stand-alone mode.

A full effects rack includes chorus, flange, compression, amp and cabinet simulation, distortion, delay and convolution reverb with a set of room and effect impulses. The bonus collection contains 40 atmospheres, pads and drones made from the guitar recordings.
