Blue Cat's Axiom 2.0: Multi-Effects and Amp Simulation for Guitar and Bass

Axiom's signal path is built around two parallel amp simulation channels. Each channel can be shaped with its own effects, and the input and master sections give you control over the overall level and tone of the rig.

The amp simulations are based on Blue Cat's Destructor and are fully customizable, so you can adjust the amp and its settings rather than only choosing from presets. Presets cover all sections and built-in effects, and the plugin is delivered with thousands of them.

Axiom reports no latency, and the built-in tuner is designed for precise tuning during a session or a live set.

The plugin includes more than 100 built-in effects, covering wah, delays, reverb, EQ, filters, distortion, compressors, gates, chorus, flanger and phaser. Blue Cat's Re-Guitar, Destructor and Late Replies are included as built-in effects.

The interface can be set to a simple EZ mode for live use or to a detailed editing view. Configurable macro parameters simplify effect control, and a MIDI-controllable looper is included. Impulse responses can be loaded within the amp simulator or the EQ plugin.

In the standalone application, you can record over backing tracks and capture the output to a file with one click. The built-in audio player supports WAV, MP3 and FLAC files.
