The instrument's sounds come from retro keyboards, modular synth leads, e-bowed guitars, antique harmoniums and woodwinds. According to Native Instruments, each source runs through high-end rack gear, vintage tape machines and boutique pedals.

Editing tools and workflow

A flexible 16-step sequencer helps generate ideas quickly, and up to six assignable macros can modulate parameters such as filter or distortion. The Macro Editor lets you change ranges and mappings or build custom controls. Settings include key ranges and velocity curves.
