The core of Bassment is its amp section, where input gain ranges from gentle to aggressive. The 5-band EQ, mid controls for frequency, low-cut, brightness and color, and a dedicated drive control give you room to shape the tone from the low end up.

Aggression and Presence knobs help the bass cut through a mix. The cabinet section offers 15 cabinet simulation types, 15 alterations and over 200 models. United Plugins says these cabinets are designed to sound more natural than standard impulse response sets.

The modulation section merges chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo and sweeper into a single stomp block, so you can blend effects or combine them into custom sounds.

Bassment lets you reorder its modules, so you can compress before EQ or place the auto-wah after the amp. The built-in poly tuner uses spectral analysis and can check all strings at once or one at a time.

The EQ matching feature analyzes a reference recording you loop in your track and adjusts your guitar sound to match it. A Leveller section smooths out performance mistakes and volume dropouts.

The interface can switch between 3D and 2D graphics without affecting sound or CPU load, and it can be resized from the bottom-right corner.
