Modules and signal flow

The plugin includes the modules from McDSP's 6020 Ultimate EQ and 6030 Ultimate Compressor, along with gates, expanders, signal saturators and specialized filters. Each of the three module bays accepts any module, so you can change the order of processing to suit a channel.

A module selector panel lets you audition equalizers, compressors and other effects on the fly. McDSP notes that modules such as the S 671 saturator include a Tone control to shape the edge it adds.

The Moo-D tube overdrive and D-100 distortion cover heavier tones, while the EZ G and iX provide gating and downward expansion with adjustable side-chain filtering.

Metering, processing and compatibility

Several modules, including the AE400 and AE600 Active EQs and the ML8000 Advanced Limiter, include real-time analyzers. The plugin is listed with zero latency algorithms, double precision processing and ultra-low latency, plus sidechain support and mono and stereo versions.

For hosts, McDSP lists AAX DSP, AAX Native, Audio Units and VST3. VST is no longer supported as of v7.0. The plugin runs on Mac and Windows, with macOS support covering Intel and Apple Silicon processors.
