03In depth

Sounds and Patch Contents for Techno and Trance

The pack includes 154 Avenger presets designed for the techno and trance producer. The developer describes the collection as covering lush, evolving pads, sharp basslines and melodic sequences, with added ratchet-style and LFO-driven movement.

The expansion also adds 11 new wavetables and 29 new multisamples, along with 49 granular samples and 16 shapes. These extra source materials give you raw building blocks to shape your own patches beyond the presets.

Use the pads for atmospheric intros, the basslines for driving grooves, and the ratchet and LFO patches for rhythmic movement in build-ups and drops.

Drums, Sequences and Arp Presets

Melodic Techno 4 includes 27 new drumkits and 27 new drum sequences, so you can pair the synth patches with matching rhythm material without building everything from scratch.

The pack also contains 204 new arp presets. These are useful when you want a melodic line that moves through a track's harmony, or a fast pattern to layer under a lead or pad.

All of these elements are designed to work together within Avenger, so you can audition a full idea from synth to drums to arpeggio in one session.
