The pack is organized into 11 groove palettes, and together they hold over 200 grooves. Each palette includes a generous set of four-bar grooves alongside fills, so you can build a verse, chorus or bridge from related patterns.

BFD says the grooves were played live by drummers and were designed to inspire new riffs and songs while staying true to the classic rock theme. Because the patterns are grouped by palette, it is easy to audition a style and move between sections of a song.

Using the presets with BFD3

Every groove palette has an accompanying BFD3 preset. These presets are mix-ready, so you can load one and start working without building a kit from scratch.

The pack requires BFD3 to run. Product download requires a registered BFD3 internet connection, so make sure your BFD3 installation is registered before you install the pack.
