BFD Virtually Erskine is an expansion pack for BFD3 that adds jazz and rock drum kits played by drummer Peter Erskine, recorded in his personal studio.
Virtually Erskine brings Peter Erskine's drum kits into BFD3. The pack includes two of his own DW kits, paired with a selection of Zildjian cymbals he regularly uses. Erskine played all articulations for the sessions, which were captured in detail in his studio. The developer positions the pack for jazz, pop, rock and fusion, and for any music that calls for controlled but powerful drums.
The pack contains two drum kits played by Peter Erskine. The kit includes 3 kicks, 5 toms and 2 snares, along with 7 cymbals, 1 hihat and 1 cowbell.
BFD says Erskine played every articulation for the sessions. Selected instruments also come in brushed versions, which gives you softer textures for jazz-style playing alongside the stick sounds.
BFD states the sessions were recorded in Peter Erskine's personal studio and captured by BFD sampling engineer John Emrich for Cymbal Masters. The pack is an expansion for BFD3, so you need BFD3 with an internet connection for download and authorization.
Plan for about 6.5GB of disk space for a full install.
