United Heavy ADpak is an expansion preset pack from XLN Audio for Addictive Drums 2. It adds heavy drum kits, Zildjian cymbals and production-ready presets for rock and metal drum tracks.
United Heavy ADpak is designed for producers who want drums with weight and impact in heavy music. It works as an add-on to Addictive Drums 2 and brings a set of drum kit pieces, cymbals and presets into the instrument. The pack focuses on hard-hitting sounds for fast or slow playing, and includes presets prepared for use in production, which can speed up getting a drum sound into a mix.
The pack centers on a custom Pork Pie USA kit in several sizes, with kick, tom and a bell brass snare options. XLN Audio says the kit was recorded in United Recording Studio B in Hollywood, a room it describes as legendary.
The cymbal set includes Zildjian models, among them a quick beat hi-hat, several crashes, a Chinese cymbal and a ping ride. A Zildjian alloy snare and an extra Custom Crasher round out the selection.
The United Heavy ADpak includes presets created by professional producers and mixing engineers, including PRO Custom Drums. These give a starting point for heavy drum tracks inside Addictive Drums 2.
The pack is listed as a companion to the Heavy Beats & Songs MIDIpak, which XLN Audio says is intended to be used alongside it for drum tracks.
