Vintage Late-60s Drum Sound

The kit is inspired by the setup of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. The developer describes the large drum sizes, coated heads and tuning as the source of a clear, thunderous sound reminiscent of the late 1960s.

The kit includes two 22x16" and 26x14" Ludwig Blue Oyster Vintage kick drums, a 14x6.5" Ludwig Supraphonic 402 snare, and 13", 14", 16" and 18" Blue Oyster Vintage toms. Together they give rock and classic-rock drumming a period-appropriate foundation.

Because the presets range from clean to heavily processed, the same kit can cover a dry, close-miked vintage tone or a more aggressive, colored sound.

Cymbals, Percussion and Presets

The cymbal selection includes 15" Paiste 2002 hi-hats (one with a ching ring), 18" Zildian K Dark Thin and 19" Sabian HH Thin crashes, a 20" Sabian Artisan Vault crash, and a 24" Paiste 2002 ride. Meinl tambourine and cowbell extras add accent options.

The presets are production-ready, so you can load one and start playing or tweak parameters to create a sound that fits your arrangement. The pack combines classic and modern sounds within the same kit.
