Kit Sounds and Snare Choices

The kit is built on a Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple drum set with a 22x16 inch kick and four toms ranging from 10 to 16 inches. Two snares give you different options. A 14x5.5 inch Longo Solid Ply Cherry snare is deeper and produces big, fat hits, especially with side sticks. A 14x5 inch Ludwig Acrolite 1968 is higher tuned for tighter, snappier hits.

The cymbal set includes Meinl Byzance pieces, among them a dual hihat, crash cymbals and a transition ride, chosen to suit the smoother sound the developer is aiming for. Extra percussion samples include clap, stomp, snap and lap.
