Tropical House 2 - VPS Avenger Expansion is a preset expansion pack by Vengeance Sound for the VPS Avenger synthesizer. It contains 129 presets covering plucks, arps, basslines, leads, pads, drums and vocals.
Tropical House 2 is a preset expansion from Vengeance Sound that requires VPS Avenger, the developer's synthesizer. Sound designer Mirko Ruta created the collection, which bundles 129 presets with multi-samples, wavetables, oscillator shapes, drum kits, drum sequences, granular samples and vocal loops. The developer positions the pack for summer-style productions, and says its flute-like leads and mallet-pluck sounds are distinctive.
The expansion's core is 129 Avenger presets across plucks, arps, basslines, leads, pads and drums. Behind them are 132 multi-samples and 30 wavetables, which give the presets their raw material for shaping new sounds.
The pack also includes 22 oscillator shapes, 5 granular samples and 2 multi-loops of vocals. Vengeance Sound says the flute-like leads and mallet-pluck sounds are among the most distinctive parts of the collection.
Tropical House 2 includes 14 drum kits and 14 drum sequences, so you can build rhythm sections around the presets without starting from scratch.
The developer notes the sounds can also be used for deep house, chart pop, hip hop, EDM and trance, though the pack is built around a tropical house and summer character.
